School Cancelled March 16, Board Meeting and Afterschool Activities Still on Schedule

Out of an abundance of caution, all Lawrence County School District schools and offices will be closed Monday, March 16. Crews have been working hard, but low hanging trees and power lines are still present districtwide. Also, severe weather conditions are predicted overnight, and assessment of potential travel hazards cannot be conducted prior to time for school to begin tomorrow. The Regular Board Meeting will be held at the District Office at 5:30 p.m., and all afterschool activities will continue as scheduled. Regular operations are set to resume Tuesday, March 17.
