Community Engagement Council Information Meeting January 28

LCSD will hold an Information Meeting for the Community Engagement Council (CEC) on Wednesday, January 28, at 2 p.m. in the Lawrence County School District Boardroom. A Community Engagement Council is a community-led group focused on improving schools and school districts. CEC members work together to establish goals to move districts forward in achievement and accountability. Parents, community leaders, public officials, business community members, general community members and community-based organizations are all encouraged to attend. For those unable to attend in person, a Microsoft Teams meeting will be held to allow virtual participation. Meeting participants will be able to complete interest forms, nominate their peers for council offices, and set goals for this year's CEC. Please join us!
