📚🐾 BATTLE OF THE CATS: LET THE READING BEGIN! 🐾📚
The Lawrence County School District is excited to announce our 3rd & 4th Grade District Reading Challenge: Battle of the Cats! 🏆📖
Our 3rd Grade Cougars will take on the Jefferson County Tigers 🐯, while our 4th Grade Cougars will compete against the Coahoma County Red Panthers 🐾 in a friendly competition designed to inspire a love of reading, strengthen comprehension skills, and celebrate academic excellence!
From October 26 through December 18, students will read, earn Accelerated Reader (AR) points, and work together to bring home the victory!
But this challenge is about more than winning. It's about building confident readers, creating a culture of literacy, and reminding our students that GOOD READERS BUILD BRIGHTER FUTURES! 🌟
📣 Parents, families, and community members—we need YOU! Encourage our students to read daily, celebrate their progress, and help us make reading a movement across our district!
