Bullock Named Outstanding Teacher Intern

The Mississippi University for Women (MUW) School of Education is very proud to recognize Lakyn Bullock as Outstanding Teacher Intern for the 2020-2021 academic year. Bullock demonstrates excellence as an educator and is patient, thoughtful, and caring in her interactions with students and parents. Bullock recognizes that education involves everyone in a child’s life and embraces the concept of teaching each student both as a part of the whole class and as an individual. Lakyn is a Lawrence County High School graduate, and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College before MUW. She is currently a first year teacher at New Hebron Attendance Center, where she teaches 2nd grade.
